Genealogical identification of the LOSH-dogs "enter into force from January 1, 2009.
From then all LOSH-breeders required to relationship between parents and pups to prove by a DNA test. This means that the DNA profile of each parent animal should at least match that of a puppy of the litter. It is the breeder may choose the puppy tested.
In this way, the Royal Society Saint-Hubert (KMSH) exclude any form of cheating and so the best guarantee to owners who opt for a dog with a pedigree-LOSH. Since 1882, all purebred pedigree which one was delivered by the KMSH, registered in the pedigree-LOF (Livre des Origines Saint-Hubert).
